Veolia North America is contracted by the city of East Palo Alto to operate and maintain the city water distribution system and customer service; serving 4,000 connections and 30,000 people in East Palo Alto with drinking water. Veolia operates through a public-private partnership, which ensures public ownership and control while enabling private-sector best practices, technological expertise, and operating know-how.

Veolia’s East Palo Alto operation began on June 1, 2020 and employs 7 California Certified Operators’ & Professional Customer Service Representatives.
